10. Sawako Kuronuma (黒沼 爽子) - Kimi Ni Todoke

Sawako is a shy yet honest girl who is in search of friendship, but her resemblance to horror film character Sadako and Sawako's modesty and her tendency to shy away from correcting people of misconceptions prevent her from doing so, to the point most of the school believed her name was in fact Sadako. Thanks to Kazehaya's kind and open nature, she is able to gradually open up to her classmates, and talk to different people. Her modesty towards friends is so strong that Yoshida has to tell her point-blank, in Vol. 2, that "Did you know? Without realizing it ... we were already friends!" With help from Kazehaya, Yano and Yoshida she gradually begins to make friends. She is grateful (and at first, worships) Kazehaya for giving her the opportunities to make close friends, which come to include Yano, Yoshida, Kazehaya and Ryu. Yano and Yoshida admit that Sawako's 'like' to Kazehaya might be even more than Yano and Yoshida themselves. She is rather short, in part because her father is as well (he is only 160 cm tall) and is surprisingly fast (to the point some people believe she is teleporting) which is revealed during a soccer match at the school's sports festival. During Yano and Yoshida's first visit to Sawako's house, Yoshida notes that Sawako's lips and figure looks like her mother's and most of Sawako's other features resemble her father's. A running gag is that she seems to take what people say seriously as well as over-analyze a situation, which tends to scare the people around her when she is deep in thought.

The wealthy blonde daughter of the school's headteacher, Sena shows a dislike of all things "ordinary." She is both attractive and academically successful, but her resulting arrogance leads her to be disliked by her female peers. Their admiration eludes her, much as she desires it; she treats her male classmates only as servants to be used, although many of them would like to be her boyfriend. Nonetheless, she holds Kodaka to a higher standard. Kodaka concludes that she is the weirdest member of the club, as she is able to warrant weird and disgusted looks not only from Yozora and Kobato, but also from Yukimura and Rika. She enjoys playing video games—including dating sims and eroge—partially because they allow her to make female (if virtual) friends. Yozora calls her "Meat" (Niku) an insulting nickname which she secretly likes because it is the first she has ever received. Her father is a friend of Kodaka's father, and pulled strings so that Kodaka could attend St. Chronica's. She really likes Kobato, since she always get really excited when she sees her. Usually, when Sena and Yozora fight, Sena usually runs from the room crying and shouting "Stupid Yozora! Go die!". It is hinted that she has feelings for Kodaka.

Hitagi, the main female character, is a weak-looking girl with an "incurable disease". She is in the same class as Koyomi, but he has almost never heard her speak. When she was in the first year of high school, she encountered a mysterious crab, after which she became weightless. Ever since, she has avoided contact with everyone else, threatening everyone who discovers her secret. She called herself a tsundere and always speaks in an abusive style. At the end of Mayoi Snail, she admits that she loves Koyomi, and subsequently enters into a relationship with him. After the events in Tsukihi Phoenix, she overcame all of her trauma, and became a rather cheerful and normal girl. She starts calling Araragi with a cute nickname, chuckling at small things and sending e-mails full of Emojis, although her sharp tongue is still there, but toned down. She seems to also have a father complex as she becomes excited to the point of being unable to fall asleep when using her father's blanket.

2nd Grade highschool student in Fumizuki Gakuen. She's in the same F-class along with Akihisa and friends, but actually she is ranked 2nd from the whole school in academics. A gentle and well-behaved bishoujo. Though she is weak in health, body development is pretty okay, with an F-class bust size. She came to the F-class because she exited the room midway during the class division examinations- resulting in a zero score. She was Akihisa's first love since long ago when they were in elementary school, but never noticed until recently when he pleaded for her during the class division examinations. But why she likes Akihisa is the greatest mystery of the 21st century. It seems it has something to do with the rabbit-shaped hair decoration she likes. After the incident she tried several times to confess to Akihisa, but due to unfortunate circumstances she did not succeed. Himiko is a Btooom! player and the female protagonist of the Btooom! manga series. She has a crush on Sakamoto and cooperates with him in the Btooom! game. Her real name is Hemilia.

Yoshioka-senpai and Mitsuo Akechi have both tried to rape her, eventually resulting in her fear for men, and she said that every man on the island is her enemy. Yuno Gasai is obsessively in love with Yukiteru (Yandere) as one can safely guess from just the simple name of her future diary. Yukiteru's condition and actions are recorded every ten minutes in her "Yukiteru" diary, it also provides small commentary made by Yuno in some of the entries. Its most obvious weakness is that it does not show Yuno's future at all -- her condition, situation, or surroundings — unless it somehow involves Yuki. Working with Yukiteru's "Random Diary" diary, however, covers both of their diaries' individual flaws; as it has been said the two make for a perfect combo. Smart, beautiful and diligent — those who don't truly know Gasai Yuno would simply see the model student role she plays while at school. She is secretly obsessed with Yukiteru and would do anything within her power to assist him. She can be quite clingy and is highly fond of stalking him. Kuroyukihime was formerly the Black King, although she was driven into hiding after beheading the first Red King, Red Rider, while trying to defeat the other kings to reach level 10. She values Haru as more than a subordinate and is often the voice of reason to him when he is willing to go to extremes to protect her. Prior to her hospitalization, she confesses to Haru that she fell in love with him. Her real first name is partially revealed at the end of episode 24 when Fuuko Kurasaki calls her "Sa-chan".

Mio is a shy girl who is in the light music club. She plays a left-handed, 3-Color Sunburst Fender Jazz Bass with a tortoiseshell pickguard, though is shown playing a Fender Precision Bass in the first manga volume. She uses D'Addario EXL160M medium bass strings. Her bass is given the name Elizabeth later in the anime. While she originally intended to join the literary club, she was forced into the light music club by her childhood friend and the club's president/drummer, Ritsu. She gets excellent grades in school and is often mature and strict especially where Ritsu is involved; her weakness is the macabre and horrific, and she is often incapacitated with fear when stories involving ghosts, blood, injuries, haunted houses, barnacles or other disturbing topics come up. She also has a fear of being in the spotlight and gets embarrassed easily, and is often subject to teasing from Ritsu and Sawako, their club adviser and eventual third-year homeroom teacher. Mio has long, straight black hair and gray eyes (that are angled slightly more than the other characters). She cites that she chose bass since it is not the center of attention in the band, unlike the guitarist. Mio is more technical when it comes to music, and Yui often comes to her when she is in need of more guitar tutorials. Charlotte is a first year student at the IS academy and is the IS cadet representative from France. Charlotte was originally introduced in the series as "Charles", the second male IS pilot student that was transferred into Ichika's class but was actually sent to the academy to spy on Ichika. Charlotte is put in a room with Ichika,
but he soon discovers her true gender. After hearing her sad story he decides to help her and then she falls in love with him.

The adoptive sister of Eren and mutual childhood friend of Armin, Mikasa hides her emotions but cares deeply for Eren—never hesitating to cry with tears of joy or despair depending on what happens to him. She shares an unbreakable bond with Eren following events in their past, and his mother requesting that she protect him made her even more overly protective of him than she was beforehand. Mikasa is considered a genius among all the army trainees, and is incredibly skilled at combats. It showed because when she was just a child, the bullies were so frightened of her they ran away.
When Mikasa's parents were murdered, and she was tied-up on the floor. Eren saved her life when visiting by chance with his father by killing two of the three men who killed her parents, in spite of him only being a child at the time. And then, when the third man was strangling a helpless Eren after catching him off-guard, she picked up a knife off the floor and stabbed the man in the back; killing him. Afterward, Eren gave Mikasa his scarf—which, even many years in the future, she still wears—and made sure she understood that he, and his parents, were now her family. Because of his heroics and this gesture, she feels her life is Eren's now, because—in her mind—she already died once.
